What is the highest resolution possible if I run a 640x480 hmd display from the VA output of my Sony computer?

I have a new Sony ultra portable (4.5" display) and would like to try a heads up display. The I-Vision 922 seems to be very sleek and portable. However, I'm used to working at up to 1280x1024 on my other laptop. I don't think that I would like 64-x480 at all. May be able to stand 800x600.

1. It should be the same resolution on the external VGA port as it is displayed on the LCD screen, but make sure your external monitor can display such high resolutions or you will damage the display and/or the VGA card on your laptop.
