Portable Trade Show

my problem is how i could play my converted video to a portable device?

device is newman mp3 player,model NO2-512M i have tried using Divx converter codec to convert in .avi format still wont work. (the mp3 device would display an error message saying "file format error") I'm a bit puzzled why because I have already converted the video file to .avi format. i have visited the customer service site for the device but sadly i lost the serial number so I cant use the site's privileges to download free stuffs there. another thing though I've noticed that every time i check the converted video file in .avi format of my converter its type of file is still the same in the PC but when viewed in my device its in avi format but wont work anyway.

1. You can use another converter for this problum.Bcoz some converter dont convert the binary of the file so the device can not recognize it. Use VCD cutter 4.04. Downaload it from www.download.com thanks
