What do I need to do to transport goods across the border, to sell at a trade show?

I would like to bring articles into the U.S. for sale at trade shows. I would like to know what the procedures are to do so. If you have info please help.

1. Find a customs broker who brings in goods from the same country you plan to purchase goods from. The broker will classify the item you want to import to determine what duties may be applicable and help you determine what other costs may be incurred. There is no other way to do this.
