How can I find out when and where pin collecting/ trade shows are being held?

I am looking for pin collector trade shows that will be in my area.

2. There are quite a few pin trading places available. One good resource for pins of all types is the Pintraders Yahoo group at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/pintraders.com with over 700 members world-wide. There you can find out about pin trading gatherings, use the many links as a research tool to find more, post questions and ask about swap meets in your area. If you collect specific types of pins there are resources for individual types of pins as well. Hard Rock Collector group at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/HardRockCollector which is for all types of HRC collectibles including pins, shot glasses, shirts, etc... Also, at the official site Http://www.hardrock.com there is a pincollectors site. Click on the "memberships" link at the top of the page. However, there is a fee for that page. The Olympic pin sites are far too numerous to list, but if you Google them, you'll find a lot. For other types of pin collecting -- Hot Air Balloons, Oddesy of the Mind, Scouting, etc... trading mostly happens at events for those activities rather than separate pin trading events for that type of pin alone. Of course, pins like that will be found at pin trading events that are not specific to one category of pins. The Pintraders list is very active and is a very good place to start searching for pintrading events in your area for all types of pins.
